Configure how your team receives notifications about client activity and case updates.

Proper notification settings ensure your team stays informed without getting overwhelmed.

Notification Types

Notification settings in Quilia Portal

Immediate Alerts

  • New client messages
  • Document uploads
  • Urgent flags from clients

Daily Digests

  • Pain log summaries
  • Appointment updates
  • Activity reports

Escalation Alerts

  • Unread messages past threshold
  • Missing documentation
  • Inactive clients

Configuring Individual Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Team > [User Name]
  2. Select notification preferences
  3. Choose delivery method (app, email, SMS)
  4. Set quiet hours if needed

Role-Based Defaults

Set default notifications by role:

View detailed client information and case activity
  • Attorneys: Major case events, settlements
  • Paralegals: All client activity
  • Intake: New case assignments
  • Admin: System alerts only

Best Practices

  • Don't over-notify - leads to alert fatigue
  • Use escalation for truly urgent items
