When clients upload files through the Quilia app, you can have those files automatically saved directly to your firm's cloud storage. This keeps client files organized in one place without requiring staff to download and re-upload them.
You can connect Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft SharePoint. Once connected, Quilia creates a dedicated folder for each client and places their uploaded files inside it. This includes any photos, PDFs, or other documents they provide during their case.
Connecting your storage provider
To connect a cloud storage provider:
- Open Settings and navigate to Integrations.
- Select your firm's storage provider: Dropbox, Google Drive, or SharePoint.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in and authorize Quilia to access your firm's storage account.
Once the connection is active, you can configure where the files are stored.
Dropbox settings
In Settings under Integrations, select your active Dropbox connection to configure:
- Upload Location: The main folder in your firm's Dropbox where all new client folders will be created.
- Client folder name: The naming format for the individual client folders created inside the Upload Location. You can adjust this to match your firm's existing filing system.
Google Drive settings
In Settings under Integrations, select your active Google Drive connection to configure:
- Upload folder: The main folder in your Google Drive where all new client folders will be created.
- Client folder name: The naming format for the individual client folders created inside the Upload folder.
SharePoint settings
In Settings under Integrations, select your active SharePoint connection to configure:
- SharePoint Site: The specific SharePoint site in your organization to use.
- Document Library: The library within the selected site where files will be stored.
- Upload Location: The main folder within the Document Library where all new client folders will be created.
How the client folder is named
Quilia organizes uploaded files by creating a folder for the client. For Dropbox and Google Drive, you control exactly how this folder is named using the Client folder name setting. This allows you to include information like the client's name or case details to match how your firm organizes files.
