The sample client provides a safe way for your firm to experience Quilia exactly as a client does. It creates a mock case and client profile that you can log into using the mobile app, allowing you to preview how messages, case phases, and documents appear.
Creating the sample client
To set up your sample client, go to Settings → Organization and look for the See what your clients see card.
You will be asked to provide:
- Case type: The type of case you want to simulate.
- Project ID or URL: The identifier or web address to associate with the sample case.
Once created, you can log in to the Quilia client app using the sample client credentials to see your firm's setup in action.
What the sample client syncs
Because the sample client is a testing tool, its activity is isolated from your actual case management system.
- What it does: You can send messages, advance case phases, and share documents with the sample client inside the Quilia portal. These actions will trigger notifications and appear in the sample client's app.
- What it does not do: Quilia does not write any data, notes, messages, or documents from the sample client back to your case management system. You can freely test communication features without worrying about polluting your official case records or triggering automated workflows in your case management system.
Removing the sample client
When you no longer need the sample client or want to start fresh, you can remove it. Return to Settings → Organization, find the See what your clients see card, and remove the sample client from your firm's account. This deletes the mock case and all associated test data in Quilia.
