Client Not Receiving App Notifications

Troubleshoot when clients report not getting push notifications from the Quilia app.

When clients miss important messages because notifications aren't working, here's how to help them fix it.

Common Causes

  • Notifications disabled in phone settings
Notification settings in Quilia Portal
  • App notifications turned off
  • Do Not Disturb mode enabled
  • Battery saver blocking background apps
  • App needs to be updated

iPhone Troubleshooting

Send this to your client:

To fix notifications on iPhone: 1) Go to Settings > Notifications > Quilia, 2) Make sure "Allow Notifications" is ON, 3) Enable Banners, Sounds, and Badges, 4) Check that Do Not Disturb is off, 5) Open the Quilia app to refresh the connection.

Android Troubleshooting

Check your settings if you encounter issues

To fix notifications on Android: 1) Go to Settings > Apps > Quilia > Notifications, 2) Make sure notifications are enabled, 3) Check that battery optimization isn't blocking the app (Settings > Battery > Quilia > Don't optimize), 4) Open the Quilia app to refresh.

Still Not Working

If basic troubleshooting doesn't work:

  • Have client uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Ensure they're logged into the correct account
  • Check if their email/phone is correct in the system
  • Contact Quilia support for further assistance

Prevention

During onboarding, walk clients through enabling notifications. A quick phone call saves future frustration.
