The Quilia app can put everything saved on your case into one PDF. It is a handy way to keep your own copy of what you have shared with your legal team, to look over your details in one place, or to print them out.
Exporting your case
- Open the Quilia app and tap your profile picture (or your initials) in the top right corner.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right corner of your profile.
- Scroll down to Account and tap Export My Case.
The app takes a few seconds to build your PDF, then opens your phone's share options. From there you can save it to your files, print it, or send it by email or message.
If you have more than one case, the PDF covers the case you have open. To export a different one, tap Switch Case on the same screen first.
What is in your PDF
Your PDF starts with your law firm's name and contact details, followed by your case type and when your case was opened. After that come the details you and your legal team have saved, such as your incident, injuries, appointments, health check-ins, vehicles, insurance, missed work and case notes.
Only sections that have something saved in them are included, so your PDF will not have empty pages for things that do not apply to your case. For documents, the PDF lists how many of each kind are on file, such as photos or medical records. The documents themselves are not inside the PDF.
Keeping your PDF safe
Your case record includes personal and medical details. Only share it with people you trust, and check with your legal team before sending it to anyone outside your law firm, such as an insurance company.
If the export does not work
If you see a message that the export did not finish, check that your phone is connected to the internet and tap Try Again. If it still does not work, make sure your app is up to date (see How to Check Your App Version), or send a message to your legal team.
