Where Client Uploads Land: Bills and Records in Your Case File

Published on

When a bill or a record shows up in a personal injury client's mailbox, the easiest way to get it into the firm's file: in the Quilia app they tap Upload File, snap a picture and pick what it is. The file lands in the case's documents, in the Quilia folder, with an entry in the activity feed so staff know it came in.

One thing that trips people up: the Quilia folder only holds files. A client update with no attachment shows up as a case note instead. Clients who would rather not open the app can text a photo to ℚ, Quilia's assistant, and it lands the same way.

When a bill or a record shows up in a client's mailbox, here's the easiest way to get it into your file. In the Quilia app, they tap Upload File, snap a picture, and pick what it is. The file lands in your case's documents, in the Quilia folder, with an entry in the activity feed so you know it came in. One thing that trips people up: the Quilia folder only holds files. A client update with no attachment shows up as a case note instead. So records start showing up before anyone requests them. Remind clients: if a bill, letter or record shows up in the mail, send it over. And if they'd rather not open the app, they can just text a photo to ℚ.
