Documents sync automatically to your Google Drive
How Does Quilia's Google Drive Sync Work?
When clients upload documents through Quilia (photos, medical records, insurance documents, or anything else), those files are automatically synced to your connected Google Drive account. No manual downloads, no extra steps.
This dual-write model means your documents exist in two places: securely in Quilia for case management, and in Google Drive for your existing file workflows. Access your client documents from anywhere using Google Drive's familiar interface.
The Google Drive integration works alongside your CMS integration with Clio, Filevine, or MyCase. Case data flows to your case management system while documents sync to Google Drive, giving you the best of both worlds.

Google Drive Integration FAQs
Common questions about using Quilia with Google Drive
How does Google Drive sync work with Quilia?
When clients upload documents through Quilia, those files are automatically filed into your connected Google Drive, in a folder for each client. It happens as soon as they upload, so your Drive always has the latest client documents without any manual work from your team.
Are my documents still stored in Quilia if I connect Google Drive?
Yes. Documents are stored in both Quilia and Google Drive, so you can reach them from your case workflow in Quilia or through Google Drive's familiar interface.
Can I use both a CMS integration and Google Drive?
Yes. The Google Drive integration works alongside your CMS integration. Case data flows to your case management system (Clio, Filevine, etc.) while documents sync to Google Drive.
Can Quilia change or delete other files in our Drive?
No. Google limits Quilia to the files and folders it creates for you, so your firm's own files are never edited, moved, or deleted.
How do we connect or disconnect Google Drive?
A firm admin connects it from Settings > Features > Storage by choosing Google Drive and signing in with Google. Disconnect from the same place, or remove Quilia's access from the Google account's security settings at any time. Google may show an "unverified app" notice while Quilia completes Google's review.
What cloud storage integrations does Quilia support?
Quilia syncs client uploads to Dropbox, Microsoft SharePoint, or Google Drive. OneDrive is coming soon. These storage integrations work alongside your CMS integration to give you complete control over where your documents live.
Do I need a cloud storage integration?
No, cloud storage integrations are optional. Documents uploaded through Quilia are always stored securely in Quilia itself and synced to your CMS. The cloud storage integration is for firms who want additional backup or prefer accessing documents through their existing cloud storage workflow.
Can I use multiple cloud storage providers?
Currently, you can connect one cloud storage provider at a time. We recommend choosing the provider your firm already uses for the smoothest experience.
What happens if my cloud storage is full?
If your cloud storage reaches its limit, Quilia will notify you and documents will continue to be stored in Quilia itself. You won't lose any files—they just won't sync to cloud storage until you free up space or upgrade your storage plan.
