Voice Journaling, SharePoint, and New Practice Areas
Version 2026.4.0 brings one of the most requested client communication upgrades yet โ voice journaling โ alongside SharePoint document sync, five new practice areas, and a fully redesigned phase message editor. There are also meaningful improvements to treatment tracking, request filtering, and the admin toolset.
Voice Journaling
Clients can now record voice notes from the mobile app that are automatically transcribed and attached to their case journal โ no typing required.
- Voice recording and transcription: Clients record voice journal entries that are transcribed automatically using Whisper, making it easy to capture detailed updates without writing a single word
- Audio playback on case journal: Recorded voice entries play back directly on the case journal and activity feed, keeping everything in one place for your staff
- Inline photo and video attachments: Photos and videos attached to journal entries now display inline, just like a standard messaging app โ no more navigating away to view media
- AI follow-up prompts: After a client submits a journal entry, AI-generated follow-up questions help prompt them for more complete and useful case updates
SharePoint Integration
Firms using Microsoft 365 can now keep case documents in sync between Quilia and SharePoint.
- Document sync with SharePoint: Connect SharePoint as a document storage integration to automatically sync case files between Quilia and your SharePoint environment โ keeping your document library up to date without manual uploads
More Practice Areas
Five new case types are now available out of the box, expanding which firms can use Quilia without any custom configuration.
- New supported practice areas: Civil litigation, real estate, debt collection, credit repair, and immigration cases are now supported โ making Quilia ready for a broader range of practices from day one
Treatment and Insurance Enhancements
Your staff can now track prescription records directly in Quilia, and insurance records have been expanded with the fields your team actually needs.
- Prescriptions tab: A new Prescriptions tab in the case treatment view lets staff add, edit, and delete prescription records without leaving the case โ keeping all treatment-related information in one place
- Richer insurance records: Insurance records now include phone number, effective date, expiration date, copay, and deductible fields for more complete coverage tracking
Redesigned Phase Messages
The phase message editor has been completely overhauled to make building and managing automated message sequences faster and more reliable.
- Alias support and single-save editing: Aliases are now supported in phase messages, and all changes save in a single action โ no more saving each message individually
- Drag-to-reorder: Phase message entries can now be dragged to reorder, making it easy to adjust your sequence without deleting and recreating entries
- Timezone-aware scheduling: Scheduled messages now use your organization's timezone, with a clear indicator in the scheduling UI so there is no ambiguity about when a message will send
Improved Filtering and Discovery
Finding the right cases, clients, and requests is faster with new filter options across the portal.
- Filter requests by client and case type: The requests list now supports filtering by client name and case type, making it easier to find the specific request you are looking for
- Filter cases by CRM status: Cases can now be filtered by their CRM integration status directly from the cases screen
- Case member status: Staff can now set and update the status of each client on a case from within Edit Case Details, giving you finer control over multi-party case management
Admin and Integration Tools
Several improvements make it easier to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage integrations across your organization.
- Integration distribution chart: The admin integration monitor now shows a pie chart of integration usage across all organizations, giving a quick view of which integrations are most active
- CMS case type and case browsers: Admins can browse case types and individual cases directly from CMS integration pages, making it faster to track down sync issues without leaving the admin interface
- Integration sidebar cards: The case page sidebar now shows the case type and phase for connected integrations; custom integrations such as CaseDB now display their sidebar card on case pages
- Status mapping backfill: When a new closed-status phase mapping is added, a backfill action is available to apply that mapping to cases already in that phase โ no more manual case-by-case updates
Bug Fixes and Stability
- Metered billing: Fixed a billing issue that had been broken since November 2025 โ metered subscription billing now processes correctly again
- Case close sync: Fixed an issue where closing a case was not propagating correctly across all CMS integrations โ case closure will now sync as expected
- Credential form autofill: Fixed password manager autofill incorrectly triggering on the Salesforce and Litify credential forms
- Duplicate NPS prompts: Fixed an issue causing duplicate reputation prompts to be sent to clients
- Sidebar default: New users will now see the sidebar expanded by default instead of collapsed
- Dark mode fixes: Corrected dark mode styling on onboarding screens and Radix color scales
- PDF viewer compatibility: Added a polyfill to fix PDF viewer loading on older browsers
- SSN field visibility: The SSN field is now hidden when SSN collection is disabled for the case type, reducing visual clutter
- Email deliverability: All no-reply sender addresses have been updated to support@quilia.com for better inbox delivery rates
